Artist's Notes

A song about old people who are in the last phase of their lives. They often struggle with physical limitations and ailments such as pain and memory loss and can sometimes no longer help themselves. They've lost many of their acquaintances and friends over the years, they often feel alone in old age and no longer want to be a burden to others people. Because their relatives and children can often no longer look after them at home, they often spend their last years in nursing homes, their last "home". Sometimes they wish they don't wake up no more one morning because of all the burdens and pain. They have lived their lives.
